Welcome to Worship Team!

This is a part of our ministry called the CFC Praise and Worship Team. Enjoy!

Being a part of the worship team is an awesome ministry but also great responsibility. Many times before the congregation ever sees the Pastor they will see you. Being a part of this we must keep in mind these things .

1) We are representing Christ
 (Basic English Bible)

2co 5:20 So we are the representatives of Christ, as if God was making a request to you through us: we make our request to you, in the name of Christ, be at peace with God.

2) That we are helping to prepare hearts for the ministry of the word.

2ch 5:13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
2ch 5:14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

So let's remember as we are singing that we are to enter in and help to guide others so that we create the atmosphere that gives God an open invitation into our services and ultimately our lifes.
