One crucial aspect of prayer is to learn how to enter His presence through praise and worship. Why do we worship the Lord? One reason would be because He is God and God is an awesome being. He is holy and pure. We are to be full of worship and appreciation for our relationship with God because we are in love with Him and truly we need no other motivation.
Another reason is because God has ordained it as a way to access His power. Worship releases His blessings on our behalf.
So as we come before God's throne in praise and worship, there will be times when all we can do is lie prostrate before Him in the majesty of His manifest presence.
You see, the presence of God and the manifest presence of God are not the same. The presence of God is always there. But when God manifests Himself to you, you become tangibly aware of His presence.
Walking in the manifest presence of God is the difference between your living a nominal Christian life and a life filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Take some time and worship the One Who is "the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Heb. 11:6). You can rest assured He will keep that promise.
